These are famous Japanese food. We say “Onigiri”. Maybe rice ball in English.
There are many kind of ingredients inside Onigiri. The ingredients in the picture above are kombu（こんぶ） and salted salmon（しゃけ-Shake）. I love katsuobushi(かつお節), too.
However these onigiri sold at a convenience store are made by onigiri machine. Our traditional onigiri have to be made by hands. Especially if made by mother's hands, it is great!
If you have a chance to go to Asakusa , why don’t you stop by the onigiri restaurant below.
You can find the difference easily between machine and hands.
